GCSE student Lauren writes for The Watermill

Lauren is one of six students who have each written an act for The Diary which will be performed by over 70 children from five different primary schools.

Working on The Watermill project has been one of the best experiences I have done. I got to write a script which, while it was hard, was really great fun and I got to work with very talented children to make my script come to life. Heidi and Beth were great help and not only has it helped me with my script writing skills, it has helped me gain more confidence which I can use with other areas. It has been a great honour working with such an amazing theatre and I can’t wait to see my play go on stage on Thursday night!
