“If Tinkerbell could grant you one wish, what would you wish for?”
2 January 2015
Everyone knows that fairies are the most magical creatures of all and Peter Pan’s guardian fairy and companion, Tinkerbell is no exception. It’s with help from a sprinkling of fairy dust that Peter and Wendy fly to Neverland where their adventures begin. To celebrate the magic of our Christmas show, Peter Pan, we asked children at several local primary schools:
“If Tinkerbell could grant you one wish, what would you wish for?”
We received a wonderful variety of responses, ranging from heart-warming and charitable requests: “I wish for food to help people” and “I wish to have magic medicine so there are no more diseases” to fantastical dreams: “a life-size cinema made out of lego“, “the ability to fly” and “a pet dragon!” All of the wishes are written on shiny gold stars and are hanging up on display around The Watermill until Sunday 4 January.
