Sheepdrove & Shakespeare: The first day of rehearsals
18 February 2019
Welcoming Principal Sponsor, Sheepdrove Organic Farm and Eco Conference Centre into the Macbeth rehearsal room to meet the team behind the show on the first day of rehearsals.
We were thrilled to welcome Helen from Sheepdrove Organic Farm and Eco Conference Centre, Principal Sponsor of Macbeth, on the first day of rehearsals for the show. Helen was invited to meet the team behind Macbeth, enjoy a backstage tour of the theatre and gain an exclusive behind-the-scenes insight into the design for the production during a presentation from the show’s designer Katie Lias and director Paul Hart.
Peter and Juliet Kindersley, owners and co-directors of Sheepdrove Organic Farm and Eco Conference Centre, are passionate about the arts and are particularly committed to encouraging those at the beginning of their career. Their support of The Watermill Ensemble has assisted many young actors in developing their craft.
Sponsoring a production at The Watermill isn’t just about having your logo on all the posters and flyers, it’s a chance to be a part of something creative and exciting in your local area. We pride ourselves on our ability to share the journey of a show with our sponsors – from initial idea to the final performance – this makes a sponsorship at The Watermill a truly special experience.
Thanks to the generous support of The Sheepdrove Trust the Macbeth cast have also benefitted from an extra week of rehearsals, this has allowed for further creative experimentation and exploration of the script and music in the rehearsal room.
