All about Youth Theatre
What happens in a Youth Theatre session?
Each session is bespoke but they follow a similar schedule each week.
We check in with everyone in the group and share news from our week.
We warm up and play drama skills based games
We then have a main activity (related to the overall theme of the term)
And then we wraps up and conclude.
What do I need to bring?
Please wear comfortable clothes that are easy to move in and will keep you covered during any physical movement. Bring water in a clearly labelled or colourful bottle. If you have any medication you may need to take, please bring them in a clearly labelled bag and ensure a member of the team is aware (either by providing details in the above form or by contacting the team prior to the session).
Do I need to have any previous experience?
No, our sessions are bespoke to the group we are working with, and we offer a very supportive environment. Our Youth Theatre focuses on indivudual development, nurturing our young people to take their next step - whether that's a tip toe or a giant leap.
Pay Less/Pay More scheme
We operate a Pay Less/Pay More scheme which means you will have three payment options: the £135 to cover the cost of the term, £120 for the term if this would help your young person access the group where the full price may be a barrier, or £150 to help support others to access our opportunities.
We are also able to offer a limited amount of full or partial financial support.
