About Youth Theatre: ages 4-8

A gentle introduction to theatre for young people aged 4-8 years.

Youth theatre sessions with an emphasis on developing performance skills, that are also useful for everyday life. Together we will learn theatre techniques such as improvising, character development and approaches to scripts. All whilst building confidence, making friends and having fun.

All about Youth Theatre

What happens in a Youth Theatre session?

Each session is bespoke but they follow a similar schedule each week.

We check in with everyone in the group and share news from our week.

We warm up and play drama skills based games

We then have a main activity (related to the overall theme of the term)

And then we wraps up and conclude.

What do I need to bring?

Please wear comfortable clothes that are easy to move in and will keep you covered during any physical movement. Bring water in a clearly labelled or colourful bottle. If you have any medication you may need to take, please bring them in a clearly labelled bag and ensure a member of the team is aware (either by providing details in the above form or by contacting the team prior to the session).

Do I need to have any previous experience?

No, our sessions are bespoke to the group we are working with, and we offer a very supportive environment.  Our Youth Theatre focuses on indivudual development, nurturing our young people to take their next step - whether that's a tip toe or a giant leap.

Any questions?

If you'd like a conversation about whether this session is right for your young person please contact our Outreach team. If you have questions about your booking or you'd like to make a booking, please contact our Box Office
