About Youth Theatre: Home Ed ages 6-11
Youth theatre sessions for young people ages 6-11 that are Home Educated.
Working with a professional workshop leader, together the young people will develop essential life skills as well as learning and improving performance techniques such as improvising, character development and approaches to script.
Each term we will explore a different topic or aspect of theatre.
All about Youth Theatre
What happens in a Youth Theatre session?
Each session is bespoke but they follow a similar schedule each week.
We check in with everyone in the group and share news from our week.
We warm up and play drama skills based games
We then have a main activity (related to the overall theme of the term)
And then we wraps up and conclude.
What do I need to bring?
Please wear comfortable clothes that are easy to move in and will keep you covered during any physical movement. Bring water in a clearly labelled or colourful bottle. If you have any medication you may need to take, please bring them in a clearly labelled bag and ensure a member of the team is aware (either by providing details in the above form or by contacting the team prior to the session).
Do I need to have any previous experience?
No, our sessions are bespoke to the group we are working with, and we offer a very supportive environment. Our Youth Theatre focuses on indivudual development, nurturing our young people to take their next step - whether that's a tip toe or a giant leap.
Pay Less/Pay More scheme
We operate a Pay Less/Pay More scheme which means you will have three payment options: the £102 to cover the cost of the term, £92 for the term if this would help your young person access the group where the full price may be a barrier, or £112 to help support others to access our opportunities.
We are also able to offer a limited amount of full or partial financial support.
