On 10 May 2024 we were joined by the national treasure that is Dame Judi Dench, for an extremely special, one-off fundraising event. Judi was joined by friend and colleague Brendan O’Hea, for an intimate afternoon talking about her life, career, and love of Shakespeare. A sold out audience joined us on a gloriously sunny day in our intimate auditorium, for an unforgettable experience with one of our countries most iconic performers – Judi even performed some Shakespeare!
This event formed an important part of our fundraising programme – enabling us to continue producing bold & exciting work on stage, and providing creative opportunities for our local community. Through ticket sales and sales of Judi's book “Shakespeare – The Man Who Pays the Rent”, we raised an incredible £20,000!
