Trusts and Foundations play a vital role in supporting the work of The Watermill. There are several areas of the theatre’s work that currently attract trust and foundation support, these include:
- Our acclaimed work on stage
- The Outreach and Education programme which reached over 19,000 people last year
- Our groups for young people and The Watermill Youth Ensemble
- Specific projects including workshops for adults and children who are disadvantaged or ‘at risk’ in the community
- Our Community Associate programme and specific access provision at The Watermill
- Our touring programme – locally and nationally
- Our Theatre in Education programme
