To ensure the safety of our customers, the Box Office counter is closed for in person bookings during periods of maintenance in the theatre.  If there is no performance in the theatre that day, we would suggest calling ahead to check the box office is open.

Ticketing & Your Visit

Ticket Prices

We have a range of ticket prices for our shows and events, with the majority of Watermill Productions offering tickets at four price bands.

We recommend booking early for the best prices and suggest becoming a member in order to benefit from priority booking. Find out more about memberships.

How to Pay

We accept all major credit and debit cards. We accept payment by cheque for group and school bookings. Cheques should be made payable to Watermill Theatre Ltd. 

Ticket Delivery

E-Tickets are sent to your email address free of charge and can be displayed on your smartphone or tablet to gain entry to the auditorium. We encourage you not to print your tickets, as part of our commitment to sustainability. 

For a fee, tickets can be printed and collected at the Box Office or posted to your address. 

Refunds and Exchanges

All tickets are non-refundable. Tickets can be exchanged for another performance of the same production, up to 7 days before the advertised start time. An admin fee of £2 per ticket applies. Subject to availability 

If you are unable to attend your performance we can try and resell your tickets. if successful your Watermill account will be credited. An admin fee of £2 per ticket applies. Please note, we do not automatically update you on the progress of resales, but please call the Box Office if you need an update. Credits are valid for one year.

We now offer Ticket Refund Protection as an optional add-on.

When the unexpected happens and you can’t make your show, we’ve got you covered! We understand the disappointment of missing out on your favourite event, which is why we offer ticket refund protection. By adding this to your order, you can safeguard yourself against unforeseen circumstances. Protect your tickets when you book for your next show and be covered for accidents, illness, severe weather, rail strikes and more for £2.50 a ticket.

Arrival time & Latecomers

We recommend arriving at least 20 minutes before the performance starts. The auditorium doors will open 30 minutes before the performance begins.

Latecomers will be admitted at the first suitable break which may be the interval. To avoid disturbance, you may be seated in seats other than those you have booked.

Food & Drink

Our onsite bar and restaurant will be open from two hours before every performance.

You can book to dine in our restaurant via our Food & Drink section or simply reserve a table when you purchase your ticket.

Please note that we do not allow picnics within the theatre grounds. 

Age Guidance & Admission

We have a range of family friendly productions and events available throughout the year. Please check the show pages for our recommended age guidance on productions. Unless a production is advertised as a family show, children under the age of four, including babes in arms, will not be admitted to the auditorium.

Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by, and seated with, an adult. 

Babes in arms (babies under 24 months) can be admitted to family shows free of charge, with a babes in arm ticket as they will sit on the lap of the adult/s in their party. If you need to move from your seats, please ensure that any children remaining in the auditorium are always with an adult. 

Dogs

We are a dog-friendly organisation, and often have dogs staying with us.

Dog’s must not left in vehicles, are not permitted into the foyer, auditorium, or restaurant except for assistance animals. 

Please keep dogs on the lead and clear up after them.
