Author Esther Freud comes to The Watermill

Esther Freud's debut novel, Hideous Kinky, was turned into a film starring Kate Winslett and was short-listed for the Mail on Sunday/John Llewellyn Rhys Prize.  A trained actress herself, Esther's new novel, Lucky Break, follows a group of young actors as they grapple with haphazard tours, illogical auditions, unobtainable agents, deluxe caravans, rocky relationships and red-carpet premieres. Join her at The Watermill on 11 May.
