How much are tickets?

How do I book tickets?

Tickets can be booked by telephone or in person. Please contact the Box Office on 01635 46044 (voice).

Box Office Opening Hours:

Tuesday - Saturday: 1pm to 6pm
Sunday - 10am to 3pm (performance days only)

Wed 25 & Thu 26 - CLOSED

There is no booking fee.

Will I be sitting in the same seats I have booked?
Yes. You will be sitting in the same seats that you selected on the seating plan when you booked your tickets online or through the box office. If there are any issues or reasons for us to change your seat(s) we will get in touch with you prior to your visit to discuss this but please be assured that it is unlikely we will have to do this.



What time are performances at The Watermill?

What time can I arrive?
We recommend arriving at least 20 minutes before the performance starts.
The auditorium doors will open 30 minutes before the performance begins.
The bar is open from midday on matinée days, and from 5pm on Monday to Saturday evenings.




The restaurant serves from 12.30pm on matinée days, and from 5.30pm on Monday to Saturday evenings.




Can I bring my own food to the performance?
Only food and drink purchased at The Watermill may be consumed on the premises. Picnics are not permitted.



Will you be accepting cash?
We will accept cash but we would prefer if you could pay for programmes and ice-creams, and any food or drinks during your visit by credit or debit card (contactless if possible).



Do you have toilet facilities?
Yes. Toilets are located at the rear of our restaurant and in the bar area. We ask that you observe social distancing in these small spaces. The toilet facilities are monitored and cleaned on a regular basis. Our staff will be on hand to assist with any queries you might have.



Where can I park?
Free parking is available onsite in the theatre’s main car park or nearby in our overflow carpark. Accessible parking is available on the parking line nearest the buildings on a first come first served basis.


Is food and drink available at The Watermill Theatre?
Yes, the restaurant and bar will be open and serving food and drinks before the performance, during and after the performance. For further information, please visit the Food & Drink section of our website.
Restaurant reservations can be made online or through the Box Office 01635 46044 (voice) when purchasing your tickets. Interval food orders can be pre ordered online or before the show starts. Afternoon teas are available on matinée days after the show.

All interval drinks will be served in reusable plastic glasses. Drinks, except for pints, may be taken into the auditorium in plastic glasses so you can continue to enjoy them during the show.



What time do the restaurant and bar open?

What if I have dietary requirements?
There is a choice of main courses and desserts on our menu, with a vegetarian/vegan option. Allergens are listed on the menus. If you have any special dietary requirements, please email restaurant@watermill.org.uk prior to your visit.



I need to attend with an Essential Companion; do they need to buy a ticket?
For audience members with additional needs who would not be able to attend the theatre without someone to support them and their personal care or other access needs, we offer a free Essential Companion ticket. Please contact the box office on 01635 46044 (voice) or email boxoffice@watermill.org.uk to book tickets for yourself and your Essential Companion.


Is the auditorium accessible?
Yes. We have wheelchair spaces in the stalls which you can book by contacting our box office on 01635 46044 (voice) or by emailing boxoffice@watermill.org.uk. Ramps around the site allow easy access to the theatre, the Lily Pond Conservatory, the Bar and Restaurant, accessible toilets and the gardens.
Please note, seats in the circle and circle slips areas of the auditorium are accessed by a spiral staircase, there is no lift.

We welcome assistance dogs. Please let the box office know they'll be with you so we can offer a seat with space for you both.
