Presented by The Watermill Theatre in association with Jamie Wilson
*Starring Tom Chambers and Caroline Sheen*
High energy, high kicking and gloriously glamorous, Crazy for You is the ultimate feel-good musical with a fabulous score from the Gershwin brothers’ songbook.
The multi-award winning, romantic comedy, filled with great dance numbers, charts the troubled love story of Bobby, son of a wealthy New York banking family and frustrated Broadway hoofer, and Polly, daughter of the proprietor of a failing theatre in Deadrock, Nevada. Sent to close the theatre down, Bobby falls for Polly and, in the guise of a Hungarian impresario, decides to save the theatre by putting on a show.
Mistaken identities, plot twists, heartbreak, happiness and a wealth of memorable tunes, including I Got Rhythm, They Can’t Take That Away From Me, Nice Work If You Can Get It and Embraceable You, all feature in this exhilarating celebration of the great Broadway musicals.
Tom Chambers credits include Top Hat (West End and UK tour) and winner of Strictly Come Dancing. Tom will play the role of Bobby.

****The Times
'The production is a delight — as silly yet smart a catch-all for a swell bunch of songs as you could wish for.'
'The charm factor is certainly strong this summer at the Watermill.'
'[Tom Chambers] true musicality is in his peppy, debonair hoofing and flair for physical and character comedy. The man’s got style plus personality to spare. He’s well-paired with Caroline Sheen...She lands the night’s loveliest vocal — a blissfully simple, honest and softly yearning rendition of Someone to Watch Over Me.'

'Everyone onstage can do it all and the audience loves them for it.'
'Artistic director Paul Hart, musical arranger Catherine Jayes and onstage actor/musical director Matt Bateman bring all their experience and love of working with actor/musicians (and dancers) to create a crazy summer cocktail that sends you home on a high.'
