careersinarts@watermill.org.ukCreator Network FAQs Is the Creator Network for people who are already working in the arts?
No experience is needed. Creator Network is for anyone who is interested in going into the arts industry or has started to make their first steps.
Are the sessions practical or discussion-based?
There will be opportunity for the group to share their experiences in the industry through discussions, but the aim is for the group to work on their own project. Participants will plan and deliver an event with help and guidance from the Career’s in the Arts team. The session will be designed to meet the needs of the group to enable them to to complete their chosen project.
Does the event cater to all careers in the arts industry?
Yes. Creator Network is open to anyone who wants to explore any role within the arts.
What happens at a session?
The sessions will run from 6:30pm - 8pm. The first session will introduce the concept of the group and exploring what everyone wants to get out of the sessions.
Do I need to attend all the sessions to take part?
Ideally you would attend all the sessions as you will be working on a group project, and we also encourage people to work on the project in-between sessions too. If you are unable to attend all sessions, then you can discuss this with the course leader.
Who will be hosting these sessions?
The session will be run by Community Associate Angharad Arnott Phillips who is a member of the Watermill Outreach team.
