Full House Appeal
Following the introduction of Tier 3 and Tier 4 restrictions in Berkshire and subsequently a national lockdown, sadly, The Watermill Theatre has temporarily closed for a third time.
We are so disappointed to have to close our doors once again but remain committed to playing our part in reducing the spread of Coronavirus.
Originally our FULL HOUSE appeal was set up to help us overcome the effects of reducing our seating capacity, to enable social distancing in our auditorium and help us to continue creating new work for all to enjoy. Sadly, we are now unable to welcome any audiences to the theatre for the foreseeable future, which means there is a much greater urgency for your support. Although closed, we still have bills to pay, especially as we are guardians of our Grade II listed buildings. We are also operating with a significantly reduced workforce, this allows us to continue providing engaging and entertaining online Take Part activities for our community to stay connected and will enable us to hit the ground running when we are allowed to reopen.
A gift from you towards our FULL HOUSE appeal will help The Watermill Theatre to withstand this third period of closure, so when we are able to reopen, we can bring our community back together and continue to tell brilliant stories in imaginative ways for all to enjoy.
Please consider making a donation to our FULL HOUSE appeal today. Support an empty seat and make a dramatic difference.
