Honorary Associate Artist Euan Smith’s productions of Twelfth Night in 1982 and Romeo and Juliet in 1983 were the first Shakespeare plays produced under Jill Fraser’s tenure. In 2017, current Artistic Director Paul Hart directs both productions to celebrate The Watermill’s 50th anniversary and its rich history of a bold, ensemble approach to Shakespeare. Join us for this unique opportunity to hear both directors discuss their approaches to these timeless Shakespearean plays.
Twelfth Night and Romeo + Juliet will be touring both nationally and internationally after appearing at The Watermill Theatre.
The bar will open at 11.30am and the talk will commence at 12 noon. A one course lunch and coffee will be served at approximately 1pm.
