Sir Patrick Stewart raises over £8,000 for The Watermill

Sir Patrick Stewart entertained The Watermill audience with anecdotes about his career in theatre and film, raising over £8,000 for The Watermill. Interviewed as part of the 'An Audience With...' series of  fundraising events by his old friend, Euan Smith, associate director of the theatre, he answered an array of questions and mingled with guests in the theatre restaurant afterwards.

He spoke to a packed theatre of his rise to fame from a West Yorkshire schoolboy to international film star, including tales of working with Vivien Leigh, and the lengthy audition process for Star Trek.
