Graham Turner was born in Cheshire and studied at Christchurch, Oxford and Stanford University in the States. He was the first Economics Correspondent for the BBC and as a freelance journalist wrote for the Daily Telegraph and the Daily Mail.
In all, he has been a journalist for forty five years and is the author of seven books including The Car Makers, Catching up with Gandhi and The Power of Silence, copies of which will be on sale in the bar area during the evening.
