THE GARDEN OF LLANGOED

“The Garden Of Llangoed is a complete delight, mixing humour with the darker emotions before the final dramatic ending."
Newbury Weekly News
2005 production of The Garden of Llangoed
By Ade Morris

Tue 05 Sep 2006 - Sat 09 Sep 2006

A rambling Elizabethan house on the rugged coast of north Anglesey. An evening in late Autumn, roses hang heavy in the old garden, the Priory dovecote settles to sleep and far away a mournful bell calls with the tide at Penmon lighthouse. In the parlour a mysterious woman and her companion sit in firelight, bound by an unbreakable bond, in their eyes the wide blue skies of long lost, war-torn summers.

What brought a dour Welsh gardener to share his twilight with this English rose from a bygone age? What happened in this haunting place to give their past such magical power…?

Follow their fated footsteps through the wild dog-daisies in the garden of Llangoed.

Tickets from £10.50 to £20.00
